Fremantle

Fremantle deserves a mention in our travels, even though it is only three hours away from us. It is my favourite place in the world so far. Laid back with cafe strips and cosmopolitan culture it has a wonderful historic look and very picturesque. Kalgoorlie is our historic goldmining city, famous for it's laid back lifestyle and friendliness. I grew up beyond Kalgoorlie in the outback and can vouch for this wonderful place. Hannan Street is the main street in Kalgoorlie and this is one of many of the original hotels from the goldrush days.....read more

South West

The Southwest of Western Australia is our little bit of England in winter, so green and pretty and much cooler in summer from the rest of the state which makes it a nice holiday respite. After Easter my friend and I went for a drive down to the Southwest of WA and re discovered the green and lush countryside of the South .
