We took a ferry trip over to Robben Island on a beautiful day after visiting Table Mountain by cable car. The weather proved so perfect for the entire trip except for one day and that really didn't matter because we were enroute to Kruger for 5 hours and it stopped when we got there - how lucky is that!...more
Capetown
The flight with South African Airlines to Capetown was comfortable and Capetown is beautiful to say the least. The weather remained perfect and the views in the first few photos are from my window. As Capetown can get very windy the weather was vital to be able to go up to Table Mountain and our luck remained with us....more
Kruger
From dawn to dusk we travelled through Kruger in the "Granny Wagon" which holds nine people and has graduated seating so everybody gets a good view. The sides are open and the driver is seated below the passengers...more
